GSM40~220 Series, Indicator Light Color Change
As the medical regulations IEC60601-1 Chapter 7.8.1 require the LED indicator light of medical products to be green, MEAN WELL changed the color of the medical adaptor GSM40 ~ 220 series from blue light to the green light (refer to the illustrations below for details). The change has been implemented since2019/7, and there will be a transition period of the inventory.

G3 Family is Changed to Kraft Box Packing
The G3 family, RS / RD / RID / RT / RQ series, has always been the first choice for multi-output high CP value industrial control power supply, reaching annual sales of over 5 million units. Such a large sales volume arouses our awareness of its packaging materials. Thus, the previous color packaging box of the G3 family is replaced with Kraft box (Figure 1), which can effectively reduce the wastewater and ink due to printing. Through this product packing change, MEAN WELL practices our commitment to environmental protection.

A301/302-300-Fx Series Appearance Modification
 In order to improve production efficiency, MEAN WELL optimized the A301 / A302-300-Fx (x = 3,4,5,6) series via adjusting the assembly method and changing the position of the DC input terminal block from the bottom to the upper position (shown as below). There will be an inventory transition period between the new and the old version.
